Chapter 57 Part 1. Princess Natasha
A bright green chemical solution was poured over Shizuru’s brand new backpack.
Slowly, it soaked into the fabric.
“It will make any foul or bloody smell become floral.”
A deodorant that temporarily suppresses the smell of blood and can even fool a dog’s nose.
Josette smiled softly as she put the empty test tube back into her pocket.
“Well, that’s it for the time being.”
“Yeah…… thanks, Josette.”
Shizuru smiled as well.
But Josette, for some reason, seemed to be saddened by his words.
“Don’t thank me any more. I want you to spit on my face, stomp on my head and choke me.”
“Mother, she’s a pervert.”
Pointing at her, Mary bluntly insults her.
Josette, on the other hand, felt a shiver run down her spine and a slight blush spread across her cheeks.
She is a true masochist, to the point of making everyone cringe.
The fact that she had a good figure made it even worse.
“Haha …… So Josette, we’re going to the second unit’s base.”
Laughing at Josette’s euphoric state, Shizuru informs her.
But as he turned on his heel, a slender hand gently caught him by the hem.
“Please wait. You haven’t paid for the medicine yet.”
Shizuru’s face twitched at these words.
“…… Do you need it now?”
“Of course. I need it now.”
With her lively tone came a radiant smile.
The fingertips plucked at the hem of his dress with slightly increased strength.
“I see…….Well, how much is it? About thirty coppers?”
“Well, stop being so ignorant.”
She put her slender hand over her mouth and let out a little giggle.
Her pale brown eyes flickered with lust and reflected Shizuru’s face.
“It’s a cheap medicine this time, so yes, …… one dose is fine.”
Letting go of his dress, Josette slowly extends her hand towards Shizuru.
Shizuru hesitated for a while, but then gave up and let out a sigh.
–Josette’s demand for payment for medicine does not refer to money.
If she had simply asked for money, it would have been much easier.
With his long eyelashes downcast, Shizuru grabbed Josette’s fingers.
He broke her index finger without any hesitation.
The sound of breaking bones was accompanied by the sound of laughter.
Almost from the base, the index finger is bent in a different direction.
This was the medicine price Josette was looking for.
“Ah, aah……a gentle fold , as ever …….”
Josette looks up at the ceiling with an intoxicated, languid look on her face.
She slumps to the wooden floor, unable to stand, as the lightning-quick pleasure numbed her whole body.
Shizuru is a doctor who knows the structure of the human body.
He knew exactly where to apply the force to break the finger, so he broke the finger with as much pain and injury as possible.
A simple fracture that, with a healing spell, would have healed in seconds.
Josette laughed at the price paid and seemed overjoyed.
“It’s the best…….”
An unpleasant scene that, looking back, makes one frown.
After leaving Josette’s Pharmacy, Shizuru and Mary walked side by side down the main street.
“The second unit of Black Maria is in charge of the southern section of King’s Landing, which naturally means that they have to deal with a lot of merchants. This is why the second unit is staffed with members who are sociable or have special skills.”
“……Sociable? That? Mother, where?”
“Haha …… I don’t know if you know what I’m talking about, but let’s not refer to it as ‘that.’ “
Shizuru chuckles at Mary’s blinking eyes.
Josette’s true nature is such that she only demands this medicine and payment from her friends and family.
When it comes to other customers, it’s business as usual.
And she is a soft-spoken, likable woman, except for her vice-like tendency to abuse.
There is nothing wrong with her ability to socialise on the surface.
“The others also have their own side businesses.”
Apart from the Hound, who is the head of the second unit, there are two other members.
Clare, a potter, and Roselinde, a painter. Both of them had made a name for themselves as artists.
“They have a workshop and a studio at the base of the second unit. Let’s pay them a visit and see their work.”
The reason for Sisel’s visit to the south section this time was to give a brief report to Richelieu and also for another reason.
It was also to thank the Hounds for their assistance to the third unit during their absence.
“If we get there, they’ll take care of this too.”
The weight of the backpack digs into his shoulders and he lets out a sigh as he puts it back on.
His voice sounded melancholic, and Mary gave him a worried look.
–Even so, it is different.
Walking through such a crowded place, carrying a single dead body on his back, without a care in the world.
It’s not something that can be done by an ordinary person.
After all, Shizuru was fatally broken in some way.
