However, closing her mouth did not stop the kisses.
“Ugh, um!”
Vivian tapped his shoulder, signaling him to stop. Roger reluctantly pulled away, but his disappointment was evident.
“Why are you stopping me?”
“Why have you been acting like this outside? What if someone sees…?”
“I clearly told you.”
He whispered near Vivian’s ear, nibbling her cheek lightly.
“It’s not enough.”
Then, he gently bit her earlobe.
“I won’t do it next time.”
At the low growl of his voice, Vivian felt her heart race. She couldn’t help but love how he was so consistent when it was just the two of them, but she couldn’t lose her reason. The occasional cold breeze brushing past them, reminding her that they were outside, served as a sobering reminder.
“I have a lot to say to you…”
Suddenly, he sighed as he trailed his fingers along her smooth thigh, which he had found under her dress.
He had thought that returning to the Capital would allow them to be passionate again, but that was a deep misconception. Since he had taken up the duties of the Royal Knights, he had been swamped with work day and night. As a result, they couldn’t even find a moment to be together. Even when they had accidentally met at the palace four days ago, he couldn’t immediately take her in his arms, and it had left him frustrated.
However, he couldn’t ignore her desire to speak her mind. In the end, he controlled his impulses and regained his composure.
“What is it?”
Vivian, who nervously cleared her throat, hesitated now that she had finally spoken.
In truth, ever since they had returned to the Capital, Vivian had been thinking about what he had said. The confession he had made in the hidden place, in the midst of the urgent and overwhelming circumstances, the confession that had swelled her heart as if it would burst.
Loving someone and confessing your love to them were two very different things, as they carried a trust and certainty that the former did not.
That day, Roger had given Vivian a sense of security in her anxious moments, so she wanted to provide him with the same stability. At the very least, she didn’t want him to be anxious about her feelings.
So, even though she had resolved to confess, she found herself hesitating due to embarrassment.
“When I left the mansion and came to find you…”
Her voice was cautious. Even though she knew his feelings, she was afraid of how he would react to her confession. It was plain and simple love.
“It was really, really hard. Why did my elemental magic disappear? Why did I have to stay back alone? Why did I happen to encounter a demon… I even thought I might die.”
“…”
“At that time, it hurt so much that I thought for the first time in my life, ‘I might die like this.’ You know who I wanted to see the most at that moment?”
Roger’s eyes softened as he listened to her plaintive confession.
“It was you. I really… wanted to see you.”
“Vivian.”
“Perhaps, is this… love?”
Her confession, spoken with a bashful smile, was as light as a breeze, but the meaning was unmistakably clear to him.
Roger felt his heart constrict in a way he hadn’t expected. It was not just excitement or anticipation; it was full-blown devotion. She had become a catalyst, an excitant, and a stabilizer in his life. Somehow, she had grown into this profound influence, and he couldn’t help but be amazed.
“…When I was looking for you, it wasn’t because there was some grand meaning behind it. I just wanted to see you once, that’s all.”
He didn’t utter a word for a while.
“Because you always appeared when I was in despair.”
Vivian gave him a mischievous smile.
Upon reflection, the only thing they vividly remembered was their first encounter. Vivian couldn’t recall their childhood meeting, and in their first dream-like encounter, Roger met someone who wasn’t her.
“So, out of curiosity, I wanted to meet you once, and by chance, we crossed paths. When we crossed paths… I didn’t know it would lead to this.”
She chuckled self-deprecatingly, as if she had let her guard down and had her heart stolen, unbeknownst to herself.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew. Her silver hair, beautifully combed, fluttered in all directions. Roger pulled her head towards him. Before their lips passionately intertwined, Roger, his emotions well-contained until then, whispered in a voice thick with deep emotions.
“I love you, Vivian.”
As the emotions that glistened on his lips like dew cautiously burst and seeped into her, Vivian felt her heart beating vigorously.
Their lips met intensely. He kissed her lips as if he wanted to consume them. Saliva and breath mingled, creating a humid embrace. Moaning, Vivian trembled in his arms. Desperately slipping his hand inside her low-cut dress, Roger explored her mouth with his tongue.
His lips slowly descended. Despite the situation that seemed like it might escalate into something more, she was entrapped by his confession of love, and all reason and senses seemed to have left her.
“Vivian.”
His tongue, tracing along her jawline, sensually licked her earlobe. Hot breath stimulated the inside of her ear. She shivered as she slid her hand beneath the lapel of his suit.
“Tell me.”
“W-what…”
“Tell me you love me.”
His gaze, more like a command than a request, made her legs go weak. His voice, husky and loaded with desire, was excessively sensual. Just as he was stimulated by everything about her, she, too, was aroused by him.
Vivian slowly raised her hand to caress his cheek. Her unemotional man, who normally looked almost expressionless, was now gazing at her with earnestness and pleading, solely to hear the words from her lips.
After swallowing her saliva, Vivian pressed her forehead against his. Her heart pounded as if it might burst at any moment. In truth, she didn’t fear it bursting as long as she was with him.
“Roger, I love you.”
It was a shy whisper, but it was filled with unmistakable passion. As her love poured out, Roger couldn’t hold back any longer.
Each time he urgently moved his lips, Vivian’s moans grew louder. Holding her waist tightly, Roger murmured with a heated breath.
“Let’s go.”
“Huh? Go where…?”
Under her bewildered gaze, Roger’s throat went dry. He desperately wanted to undress her right here and explore her soft skin—licking, sucking, and touching every inch of it. He stared at her with a mischievous grin, and when her pupils seemed to plead, he tightened his grip on her.
“Right now, it feels like I might explode if we don’t.”
“Roger…”
His tongue, tracing her jawline, provocatively licked her earlobe. The scorching breath stimulated the inside of her ear, making her grip on his suit tighter. About to scold him for his audaciousness, she bit her lip as something teased her thigh.
“If we don’t go now…”
“Roger.”
He lifted her into his arms. Startled, Vivian clung to his neck. When her body seemed to float in the air, Vivian’s mind returned.
“Wait, Roger!”
“What?”
With each step he took, he kissed her all over her face.
“Can we just go like this? His Majesty said we’re the guests of honor today…”
“I won’t do anything inside the venue.”
His voice, full of tension, was oddly flirtatious. Vivian glared at him as if he were a wild beast. Chuckling, Roger suddenly released his grip on her and adjusted his position, as if she might fall any moment. When her pupils, now hazy, pleaded with him as she gasped, he wanted to bury himself deep inside her.
“If we don’t go now, I might explode.”
“Roger.”
“Why don’t you give me that much?”
Vivian couldn’t hold back her laughter because of the way he spoke, which was still full of playfulness, even though his groin was severely swollen. Taking her smile as a yes, Roger hurriedly moved his feet.
When the banquet without its main characters was in full swing, the main characters of the banquet were also enthusiastically ripe in a different way.

Several years later.
Daniel was woken up early in the morning by an uninvited guest who pounded on the door as if they wanted to break it down. He opened the door with a grumpy expression and received a letter from the mailman, who hurriedly fled after seeing the deep shadows under his eyes.
Daniel scratched his disheveled hair and examined the letter. He noticed two names written side by side on the beige paper, which didn’t match the gloomy interior of his house at all.
One year ago, Daniel had gained worldwide recognition for publishing a magical thesis related to elemental magic. It was not only groundbreaking research but also the first theoretical explanation of the correlation between elemental and dark magic. With that paper, Daniel’s status had risen higher than any other magician in the world, and now, job offers were pouring in.
As he read the letter, he couldn’t help but grin, knowing it was a letter from Vivian, who had been a tremendous help to him in writing the paper. He opened the letter and saw two names.
[Vivian Rector · Roger Orpheus.]
Both of these names were familiar. However, the characters written above their names were quite unfamiliar.
“Marriage?”
He muttered with a tone that seemed quite surprised. Of course, there was no one to answer his question.
At the same time. Hiddenka Capital, 53rd Street Mansion.
“Gray!”
Lying on the couch, Gray, who was scanning a stack of contracts that were piled up like a mountain, raised his head at Camilla’s call. Camilla, who had been checking the mail that arrived that morning, handed him an envelope. Gray, feeling annoyed, thinking it might be another contract, wrinkled his nose.
“What’s this?”
“It’s for you. It seems like something sent by Count Lector?”
Casually lying down, Gray immediately sat up at the mention of Count Lector. Among the people he knew, there was only one person with the name ‘Lector.’ Just as Camilla had mentioned, the name ‘Vivian Lector’ was embroidered on the envelope.
“What could Vivian want?”
Opening the envelope, Gray couldn’t hide his excitement at receiving a letter after several years.
Camilla, watching Gray read the letter in disbelief for a while, glanced at him with a puzzled look.
“What’s going on? What does it say?”
“…”
In a state of disbelief, Gray read the letter several times and then burst into an inexplicable laughter. He had asked to be informed if there was any good news, but he never dreamed that this good news would come so soon.
“Camilla, it looks like I need to go to Mosbana.”
“Huh? Why?”
Gray replied, fluttering the beige-colored letter between his fingers.
“Because of a wedding.”
